STAGE 1
BRIEFING & INITIAL CONSULTATION
We will usually begin with visiting you in the space to be designed, to carry out a detailed questionnaire together. This is where we will start to develop an idea of your future design ideas, concepts and aspirations. We will discuss in detail, the scope of works against your timescales and take photographs and measurements. Every project is unique, and attention to detail is key. Our projects range from curtain design, sourcing individual pieces of furniture or artwork, through to complete full renovation. From the start, right through until those final finishing touches we will work with you, bringing all of your ideas to life.
STAGE 2
CONCEPT DESIGN DEVELOPMENT & PLANNING
Once we have developed an in-depth understanding of your project and design aesthetic, we will provide a detailed quotation and full plan for the scope of the design works. If required, design concept boards, visual brochures, layout plans, electrical plans and technical working drawings can all be created for your project. This will bring your ideas to life and help you to envisage the final result and finished project. We offer project management, if required, and can organise, direct and manage our specialist team of architects, builders, plumbers, electricians, joiners and tilers. Every fine detail is taken into account and planned meticulously, ready for the next stage of procurement and installation.
STAGE 3
PROCUREMENT & INSTALLATION
This is when your ideas and our vision really come together. When the overall design has been client approved, Swatch Interior Design UK will manage the procurement, ordering and purchasing of everything required to carry out your design project. This may include lighting, wall coverings, bespoke joinery, window dressings, furniture, sanitary ware for bathrooms and soft furnishings. Whilst project managing, either our own team of instructed tradesmen or working closely with your chosen team, we will ensure correct and timely delivery of all plans, products, services, building specifications and any specialist installs will be fully catered for and meticulously carried out.
STAGE 4
COMPLETION & FINISHING TOUCHES
The final phase and by far the most exciting! All the hard work has now been professionally and lovingly completed on time and your design has been brought to life. Swatch Interior Design UK will come and style your space using all of the items sourced throughout the project, should you require this service. You can now sit back and enjoy all of those exceptional and fine crafted finishing touches at your leisure, whilst fully relaxing and taking in those new colours, fabrics, textures, lighting and much more.
